How to request access to your personal information

You can ask for records about you #

If you need access to personal information or certain company-held records, you can make a formal request through the PAIA process.

How it usually works #

1. Complete the prescribed request form.
2. Provide enough detail to identify the record you need.
3. Explain the right you are seeking to exercise or protect.
4. Submit the request to the Information Officer using the official Tuks Mobile contact details.

Good to know #

• Requests for your own personal information may not require the same fee as other requests.
• Some records can still be refused if they affect another person’s privacy or protected commercial information.
• The Information Regulator also provides public guidance on PAIA requests.
